Tonight was my night with my  youngest daughter, Ireland. She chose to work on her Valentine’s cards and boy, was she quick. Afterwards I let her have a piece of chocolate and we laughed and laughed about silly things like wasabe peas and fher arting on my pillow. She makes all of us laugh, she is, by far the funniest one in our family. She is quick to laugh. It wasn’t always like that. She didn’t even talk when she came to me at 2 years old. She would cry, scream, and stomp, but she didn’t talk; not even to say no. Laughter did not come easy to her in the early days. Then slowly, like a rose beginning to bloom, she began to smile. I am so proud of her and so thankful to Jesus for the work He has done in her.
