meThis is me on a warm September Sunday with my church family on a farm on the outskirts of McMinnville, Oregon.

I think these “About Me” pages are incredibly difficult to write and part of me wants to skip it altogether. However, I really love reading about other people so I’m going to assume that you do, too.

At the time of this writing (September 2015) I am a 40 year old single woman. I a mother to 4 children: boys 14 and 19, girls 11 and 16. I’m also Lola (grandma) to one incredibly adorable baby boy.

I’m also a photographer and writer. I have the privilege of telling stories through both outlets. I have over 25 journals from the past 30 years of my life. Writing has been a passion and way of healing for me for so long. I play the flute and have recently begun voice lessons. In my previous “about me” write up I said that I love scrapbooking, quilting, baking bread, and canning. It’s true. I do enjoy those things, I just don’t do them anymore.

I love to read. Currently I’m reading The Circle Maker and listening to Rich Dad’s Cashflow Quadrant on CD. This year I’m working on reading more as I had put reading on the back burner.

That’s a little synopsis of who I am, but I’m sure you’ll get to know me as you continue to read my blog. I look forward to getting to know you, too!
